As we are getting belted here with snow. I am thinking of the awesome time I had last night. We were at a stag and doe for our friends. A celebration to honour the couple who is getting married. And hopefully raise some money for their new journey together.
But one of my passions in life is to dance. I just love it. Every cell, every muscle(yes they hurt a little today) and every fibre of my body screams with delight whenever I get my groove on.
I remember growing up.  When I was wee little not so bald guy( I actually had an afro, hey it was the 70’s). Here’s the scenario. The turntable would be circling with the choice of vinyl for the night. Usually some Boney M, mixed in with some waltzes and a touch of calypso from a steel band from my Dad’s country of Trinidad. The speakers would be humming with the beats of whatever was playing. And the three of us would take turns on my Dad’s feet. Learning the rhythm from a master glider himself.
Every once in awhile we would go as a family out to Leisure Lodge. They hosted an early dinner and dancing family night. So we got to practice what we had learned on our Dad’s feet  with other people and kids of similar ages. It was great fun. And it was amazing to watch how my Mom and Dad would glide across the floor.
Dancing has always been a part of my life. School dances, dancing at weddings, probably too much dancing in University. It is also how my wife Debbie and I became such good friends.
We would often go out to a local establishment just to have fun and dance. I guess after a year she thought it would be all right to have this guy around for a lot longer. And more then just friends.
Well last night was the first time we danced in over 2 months and just the second time this year. We had a blast . Lots of people sharing laughs and gliding on the dance floor. It was a very memorable night.
The following  morning we  went to pick up our kids at the Yurt. My sister and her partner live in this tent with their 6 month old. And it was the first time our kids got to have a sleep over at Aunties since she had moved into the Yurt.Â
Guess what they told us. They had danced. Apparently they were doing the same thing at the same time. Just in a different location.
Busting a move in the Yurt in the middle of the forest underneath the stars. Pretty cool.Â
I guess the love of dancing runs in our family.
Whoa! I just realized that dancing brings me great joy and that I desire to have more of it in my life. It makes me feel on top of the world. Totally alive.
Which reminds me. One of the things I hear Joe Vitale say. “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs? Ask yourself what makes you come alive? And then go do that.  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive!”
So Debbie and I have just made an early New Years Resolution. We are going to go and dance somewhere every 6 weeks. Yee ha! This should be an easy resolution to keep.
And speaking of resolution. The Lawttery of Attraction has resolved this weeks mystery. The winner is Franca from Italy.
Congratulations Franca. I look forward to sending you this weeks prize of $50.
Now I better go out and shovel all that snow. Have a great day.

Dear Dave,
I really can’t believe that I have won the lawttery of attraction. thank you, thank you. You’re the most generous person i’ve ever met. I’m so grateful and so happy, i’ve never won a lottery.
I’d love to tell you about my story, the story that has led me to where I am today. About three months ago I was reading an article about “the secret” I was amazed and curious to know more so I started reading about it on the website, then I saw the Dvd(film). I was so enthusiastic, I must have seen it 100 times. Since that day I’ve been trying to apply the secret to my life. Of course it’s not so easy but of course I’m working on it. I really do believe it and it is exactly what you have said it’s the growth of man kind and the conciousness that there is something bigger than what we have always believed in. I’ve even written some memos about my feelings and thoughts that have come around me since i’ve found out about the secret. The only thing that I can say is that my life is getting better, not only economically but I feel more confident.
