I Believe

I believe The Lawttery of Attraction has chosen a new winner.  Ed from the USA is this weeks winner.  Yee ha!

And I know I have some catching up to do.  So here goes.

Annie from Australia was the winner February 21nd 2010.

Barbara from the USA was the winner February 14th 2010.

Donna from Great Britain was the winner  February 7th 2010.

John from the USA was a surprise winner. The Lawttery of Attraction chose John on February 1st 2010. I forgot to change the draw back to weekly from daily after The After Christmas Giveaway was over.I guess the Universe wanted another winner.

I wish to thank everyone for the amazing response we had during The After Christmas Giveaway.  It turned into an overwhelming success.

I especially wish to thank my Donation Champions during this period.  They are Vivan Garrett from Valley Stream New York, USA for donating $5.00. Steve Nash from West Yorkshire United Kingdom for donating $53.50. And the amazing Donna (DonnaontheBeach) from West Midlands for donating $5.00.

I also am grateful to the amazing support I received during the past month.  Thank you.

So now that my Olympic fever has lessened.  I would like to congratulate the organizers of VANOC and the Media Consortium for using The Law of Attraction in such a positive, upbeat and subtle way.

John Furlong the head of Vanocinspired us throughout the seventeen days with his remarkable use of words. John Vanoc stated at the opening ceremony:

The Olympic Flame has touched many millions and prompted spontaneous, peaceful celebration. Reminding us all that those values that unite and inspire the best in us we must never abandon. As the Olympic Cauldron is lit, the unique magic of the Olympic Games will be released upon us.

Magic so rare that it cannot be controlled by borders. The kind of magic that invades the human heart touching people of all cultures and beliefs. Magic that calls for the best that human beings have to offer. Magic that causes the athletes of the world to soar and the rest of us to dream.”

And his remarks at the closing ceremonies:

“I believe Canadians tonight are stronger, more united, more in love with our country and more connected to each other than ever before… These games have lifted us up.”

But it was his dream to unite the world in some small way that I find remarkable.  He wanted to ensure that all of us feel the connection that we all share the same values and that we are part of something bigger then just ourselves.

And what about the fantastic song I BELIEVE .

“I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one
I believe together well find
I believe in the power of you and I ”

I believe in The Lawttery of Attraction and I believe in Ed  from the USA for being chosen as this weeks winner.  Congratulations.

Mistakes And The Law of Attraction

This is awesome.  Our first winner from Malaysia is Jayjay who was chosen by The Lawttery of Attraction to be the 11th winner of The After Christmas Giveaway.

———————————————————————-

I have screwed up big time.

Yes the Bald Guy makes mistakes.

This one is a doosie.  It will affect my family, friends and my image.

People feel betrayed and are angry and frustrated.

And it all could have been prevented.  If I had told them the truth.

I faced them during the last 2 days and listened to their frustrations.  It was not pretty.  I tried to remain calm.  I didn’t want to react because they had every right to share their feelings.

It was an intense experience.  But with every pitfall there is an opportunity to grow.  I realize I am not alone.  So it was comforting to have the understanding that God, the Universe, Source whatever you want to call it, was beside me.

I understand and omitted that I screwed up.  I will have do deal with those consequences.

“Yeah but Bald Guy, even though you screwed up I still love you.  But how does Law of Attraction work in this case?  Did you attract this disaster?”

Thanks I love you too.  And yes I attracted this by not being truthful and upfront.  However I am talking about the aftermath. You know that feeling of worry, dread, uneasiness in your stomach after you make a mistake.

You have to let it go.  You must forgive yourself or your thoughts are going to continuously eat away at your insides.

Now I am not trying to duck my responsibility.  I am using Self-I-dentity Ho’oponopono to clean whatever is inside me that has caused this mess.  However I can do nothing else.  What is done  is done.

“When we eat some food and it gives us a stomach ache or makes us sick, we take care to avoid it in the future.  Why is it that when we think a thought that gives us heartaches and makes us unhappy, we sometimes keep on thinking it?” - Nithya Shanti

Thanks for sharing that Nithya.  As I said I can do nothing but clear myself of this memory and make sure it doesn’t happen again.  If I keep thinking about this situation it will only give it energy.

I am Sorry.

Please Forgive me.

Thank you.

I Love you.

I am delighted to announce Jayjay from Malyasia as the winner of The Lawttery of Attraction.  Way to go Jayjay.

Duane And The Law of Attraction

The 9th person to win The After Christmas Giveaway as chosen by The Lawttery of Attraction is Tu from Canada.  Congratulations!

——————————————————————–

Exactly a year ago.  My brother was in the shit.

He had recently separated from his wife of 15 years. His catering business wasn’t earning enough.  He wasn’t sure how he was going to pay his rent, phone bill, lease on his vehicle and make support payments for his beautiful daughter.  And he was extremely lonely.  He needed to be loved.

We had amazing heart to heart talks.  He was trying everything possible from what he was learning about The Law of Attraction.  But seemingly getting nowhere.

I could feel his pain and couldn’t do anything but support and comfort him.  Our distance of 6hrs apart made it even more difficult.

And finally the only advice I gave him was to let it all go.  You are already in a difficult situation.  Just release it and have faith that things will be better.

And guess what.  He actually realized that the situation couldn’t get any worse.

He had done all the asking.  All the believing.  Now he had to receive.  He had to let go and allow.

And boy did the Universe respond.

Within days he was hired as an Executive Chef  at The Rib’n Reef. It’s a well known restaurant in Montreal.  Now it wasn’t exactly what he wanted.  But it gave him the opportunity to make a decent salary.  He is also able to play and design some foods for the big spenders that frequent the restaurant.

His salary didn’t allow him to keep everything .  So he downsized.  He gave up his apartment and moved into a smaller but very cheap (by Montreal standards) place. He could afford his utility bills.  He signed a new lease for a smaller vehicle.

Now with the financial stuff out of the way.  He wanted to make sure his relationship with his daughter was loving and secure.

He was having difficulty spending time with her because he was working 70-100 hrs.  He was trying to  make an impression.  To bring the restaurant’s dishes up to his quality.

So he asked The Universe for some time off.

Now here is the tricky part.  When you ask for something from The Universe. You must be very specific.  Because the Universe always delivers.

Within a week he was in a serious accident at work.  A huge pot of boiling water slipped out of his hands hit another pot on the stove , and spilled its entire contents on his lap and legs.

Can you say ouch!  As a result he ended up with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his leg.  Thank God the crown jewels were not seriously damaged. Lol.

He had to go to the hospital every day for a month so they could change his bandages and scrape the skin.

However he did receive 6 weeks off and got to spend lots of time with his daughter.  A week after the accident he was still in pain  as he told me the story about asking for more time with his daughter.  But he was laughing as he remembered how he didn’t specifically ask for the time off.

So onto the third rquest.  He wanted companionship and love.

He was requested by the owner of the restaurant to put on a function for a charity event.  There were going to be other restaurants there.  it was going to be a meet and greet.  He didn’t feel like going it was on his day off.

He demanded that if he went he wanted total control.  Thank God the owner’s agreed.

About 1500 people showed up.  And Duane wowed them.  Hundreds of people were constantly in line waiting for his delicious dishes.  He was the star of the show. And….

Yup you guessed it!  He met a beautiful women Nancy.  The attraction was instant.  They couldn’t keep their hands off each other.  It was love at first sight.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy at Christmas time.  It was amazing to see my brother so happy and in love. Thank you Nancy.

The 2nd best part about that night was he received some media exposure.
