Nuggets from Brain Research

The winner is Ronald from the USA.
———————————————————
I know I am giving away a million dollars.
With all of my heart I know.  This is a done deal.
I guess what I am having trouble with is the journey.  That I am questioning the Big guy is remarkable.
Especially after all that I have experienced on this journey since September 2007.
As my LOA coach Sonia Miller said in her comment on the previous post, “You’re doing great in seeking to remain open and be in gratitude. The only other ingredient I’d add is TRUST. Trust that all this isn’t happening IN SPITE of “doing everything right” but BECAUSE YOU’RE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT. “
Sonia continued by saying, “I think this is happening for you. The challenges you are facing now are presenting you with opportunities to see where you need to expand your consciousness further - where limiting beliefs exist, where fears hold you back.Instead of asking, “Why is this happening?” ask instead, “What is being revealed about my consciousness here?” “What can I learn here? How can I grow?”.”

Wow! Thank you Sonia and so true.

And then I came across this wonderful note that Nithya Shanti has shared from Based on the work of Joe Dispenza in his book - “Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind”

I thought I would share it with you.

Enjoy!

1) Decide who/what you want to be and create an ideal picture of that in your mind.

2) Allow the frontal lobe of your brain to fulfill its functions as your guide; the frontal lobe is so skillful that the only limitation on its ability to construct these models is your own skill at envisioning the ideal of yourself. The frontal lobe allows you to transcend the slow, linear process of evolution and to advance beyond the natural progression of adaptation.

3) Regularly rehearse the new attitudes and behaviors internally and externally, especially at bedtime.

4) Break your brain and body’s chemical addictions to negative thinking and feelings by stopping automatic negative thinking and feeling. Interrupt the flow of repetitive thoughts that occupy most of your waking moments.

5) Address your attitudes and discover what groups of thoughts that are clustered together in habitual sequence (i.e., attitudes) that you have to break free of.

6) Resolve to no longer revisit memories of your past and the associated attitudes that define you as a victim.

7) Stop blaming others for your problems.

8) Deny your familiar internal voice and external voices of other people that limit you.

9) Replace negative “priming” with positive priming, such as feeling appreciation and gratitude; mentally rehearsing your new role; taking breaks in routine (such as travel); changing negative perceptions to positive perceptions).

10) Break away from customary routines.

11) Get feedback from others on how you’re doing [as the "new person"].

12) Devote every spare minute to moving into the new life.

13) Become so involved in focusing on the present moment and on your intent that you completely lose
track of your body, time, and space. Nothing, then, will be real but your thoughts.

14) Seek out instruction to get to the next level.

15) Make the healing/changing process the most important thing in your life.

If Thoughts Become Things, What The Hell Have I Been Thinking?

The winner is Jackie from the USA.

——————————————————–

This past week has been insane.

Last Saturday I found out that I had to be at work on Monday. However I was doing a little side business and Monday’s are usually the clean up day.

So Sunday night after being exhausted from selling all weekend I fell and landed on my back smashing my head.

I was grasping for air.

Landing hard, the floor pushed all the air out of my lungs.

My mother-in-law hovering above me in fright.

Wow!

Looking back on it, I think I suffered another mild concussion.

All week I have been miserable.

Moody.

Exhausted.

Not to mention my muscles have been screaming from working 12-14 hours in my physical job.

So Universe, what gives?

I thought I was doing all the right things.

I mean I was being grateful through out my day.  I was thanking and noticing all of the abundance.

I just started a course, Success for the Soul Ultimate Boot Camp, taught by my coach Sonia Miller.   I was so looking forward to having more brakthroughs.  I feel that has vanished because of lack of time.

Hopefully I just need another week to get used to my schedule. Then I can concentrate on this course.

Plus there is another employee staying at the blue house.  I love Jeremy and the Blue House will always be open to him.

However all of this has taken me away from being on the computer.  Learning, enjoying and sharing with others from all over the world my vision.

I haven’t even been on Twitter ( http://Twitter.com/DavidSlocombe) in 10 days.

And the worst part.  This has all put a strain on the family life. I barely see my kids.  Debbie is unhappy with how I have been.

I don’t blame her.

I mean I have been a bit of an ass.

Ok may be I have been a huge ass.

But I feel that everything I have worked for has been taking away from me.  And I don’t feel the support for The Lawttery of Attraction at home as I do in the cyber world.

“Rewind and go back to the beginning Bald Guy.  Be grateful for what you do have.”

Ok so I am grateful that the Universe has given me a channel for some abundance through my job at Nature’s Pallette (http://www.NaturesPallette.ca).  Thank you Alex and Julio for hiring me.  And Thank you Jason Palmer for bringing me into your new life with Alex and Julio.

I guess I am having a hard time allowing.  But I will remain vigilante.

And as my new friend from Twitter, Ned Johnson(follow him he is amazing http://Twitter.com/Emmortal ), pointed out, “As to the job, just keep your eyes open for the gifts it offers you that aren’t measured in $$. They’re there. Don’t miss them.”

All I know my reality is no where close to what I desire.  However I will continue being thankful for all the good that is here.

And I will make you a promise that I will continue seeking to allow and attract more abundance into my life in order to share it with you.

So here’s to Jackie from the USA for winning this weeks Lawterry of Atrraction,  50 bucks will be on the way.

Thank you for your patience.

You are awesome.

Using The Law Of Attraction To Remain Positive

The winner is Valérie from Canada

The joy I receive from reading your stories is limitless.

Soon after I started this online journey many have shared their story with me. I am grateful for this.

But a special person from Indonesia always remained by my side.

Willing to Learn about The Law of Attraction.

Sharing her story.

So that I may learn more.

All the while enjoying the journey.

In one email a few months a go. Ana from Indonesia shared with me her prosperity.

You see she is amazed at how well her company is doing.  Thriving! This all in the face of a so-called economic depression.

Now I don’t want to belittle what is happening out there.  I know lots of you have been hurt.

But I wanted to learn more about a company(KARAK LARIS MANIS), that made a product I had never heard of, that was doing well.  So I encouraged Ana to send her story with some pictures and here it is.  Enjoy:

First, I’d like to give a warm smile to the world J

This piece of writing is dedicated to those who would like to learn about a small business industry in Solo, Indonesia. This small business has increased its sales, even during the huge recession that is happening worldwide.

What a miracle! I’m grateful for it. I thank God for this abundance.

Well, I was even more grateful when David asked me to post a story and its pictures about my business …BIG THANKS, Dave!!! I wrote about my big dream for my business on my Facebook page. The dream that I wrote about on my Facebook page is that I want this small business to be known by people worldwide.

It’s all because of a simple thing…POSITIVE THINKING. I started becoming a more positive person after someone gave me an amazing book - The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I now think more positively about life and about this business. The results are more than I could have imagined. I am now trying to put positive thoughts into my mind into every single day!

I started managing this business, which was previously managed by my Mother, last year, after graduating from the English Department of Satya Wacana Christian University. I was so frustrated during the first months of managing the business….But oh well, I am continually learning. Now I am grateful for being able to manage the business in a better way. Now, I love what I do. J

How did I finally get away from that frustrating situation, and into a better situation?

Well, let me tell you first why I got so frustrated at that time. The frustrating situation was because of my university degree (English Teaching and Literature) is not related to the business that I am doing. Another frustrating thing was that I had a dream job, which was to work in a Western country. I have had this dream since I was in the Senior High School. However, as I was getting more involved in the business, I started to change the way I thought about what I do. The job I am doing can be my dream job as I can learn many valuable things that I didn’t get from University J

Alright, I think it is time to share with you what the business is.

It is a food industry. It produces KARAK.

KARAK??!

Yes, Karak.

Karak is a traditional food from Indonesia. It’s something like a rice cracker, and it goes very well with many dishes.

There are four types of Karak. They are:

1. Garlic.
2. Shrimp.
3. Shrimp paste.
4. Fish.

Here are the steps involved in making Karak:

Cook The Rice

I am happy for the chance to be able to help my parents to manage this food business. Without God I am nothing and with God everything is possible!

Thank you Ana for sharing with us your fantastic business. Your positive outlook has been rewarded with abundance

We are greatful for allowing us to learn something new.  Which is something we should all strive for.

As the great Mike Litman(http://www.mikelitman.com/blog/)  reminds us,” Make sure that when you go to bed at night you are a different person then when you awoke that day.”

I am pretty sure that most people that read this can already check that off their list today. Thanks Ana.

And speaking of learning something new.  Valérie from Canada is this weeks Lawttery of Attraction winner. Congratulations $75 will be on the way.
