The joy I receive from reading your stories is limitless.
Soon after I started this online journey many have shared their story with me. I am grateful for this.
But a special person from Indonesia always remained by my side.
Willing to Learn about The Law of Attraction.
Sharing her story.
So that I may learn more.
All the while enjoying the journey.
In one email a few months a go. Ana from Indonesia shared with me her prosperity.
You see she is amazed at how well her company is doing. Thriving! This all in the face of a so-called economic depression.
Now I don’t want to belittle what is happening out there. I know lots of you have been hurt.
But I wanted to learn more about a company(KARAK LARIS MANIS), that made a product I had never heard of, that was doing well. So I encouraged Ana to send her story with some pictures and here it is. Enjoy:

First, I’d like to give a warm smile to the world J
This piece of writing is dedicated to those who would like to learn about a small business industry in Solo, Indonesia. This small business has increased its sales, even during the huge recession that is happening worldwide.
What a miracle! I’m grateful for it. I thank God for this abundance.
Well, I was even more grateful when David asked me to post a story and its pictures about my business …BIG THANKS, Dave!!! I wrote about my big dream for my business on my Facebook page. The dream that I wrote about on my Facebook page is that I want this small business to be known by people worldwide.
It’s all because of a simple thing…POSITIVE THINKING. I started becoming a more positive person after someone gave me an amazing book - The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I now think more positively about life and about this business. The results are more than I could have imagined. I am now trying to put positive thoughts into my mind into every single day!
I started managing this business, which was previously managed by my Mother, last year, after graduating from the English Department of Satya Wacana Christian University. I was so frustrated during the first months of managing the business….But oh well, I am continually learning. Now I am grateful for being able to manage the business in a better way. Now, I love what I do. J
How did I finally get away from that frustrating situation, and into a better situation?
Well, let me tell you first why I got so frustrated at that time. The frustrating situation was because of my university degree (English Teaching and Literature) is not related to the business that I am doing. Another frustrating thing was that I had a dream job, which was to work in a Western country. I have had this dream since I was in the Senior High School. However, as I was getting more involved in the business, I started to change the way I thought about what I do. The job I am doing can be my dream job as I can learn many valuable things that I didn’t get from University J
Alright, I think it is time to share with you what the business is.
It is a food industry. It produces KARAK.
KARAK??!
Yes, Karak.
Karak is a traditional food from Indonesia. It’s something like a rice cracker, and it goes very well with many dishes.
There are four types of Karak. They are:
1. Garlic.
2. Shrimp.
3. Shrimp paste.
4. Fish.
Here are the steps involved in making Karak:

Cook The Rice
1. Cook the rice, together with the other ingredients.

Rolling the rice
2. Roll the cooked rice in a rolling machine.

Cut into squares
3. Cut them into square shapes.

Arrange on Aluminum Sheets
4. Carefully arrange the square-shaped Karak onto aluminum sheets.

Drying Process
5. Dry them in the sun.

Packing
6. Pack the dried Karak into plastic bags.

Ready to sell
7. The products are ready to sell!!!
I am happy for the chance to be able to help my parents to manage this food business. Without God I am nothing and with God everything is possible!
